Forward Technologies Inc. (FTI), established in December of 1998, is a precision machine shop specializing in the machining (milling & turning) of plastics, composites, aluminum and soft metals using CNC technology. FTI works with small to medium prototype and production run volumes (5 to 1,000 pieces) and/or blanket orders with scheduled deliveries. FTI’s team of machinists and staff uses the latest modern equipment and techniques to ensure quality part production. “Mastercam” software is used for CAM programming. The “E2 Shop System” supports the day to day shop floor control, which includes QA, inventory, purchasing and accounting.

G. Michael Fultz (co-owner) is the President and General Manager of Forward Technologies Inc. with 30 years experience as a machinist, model maker, mechanical designer, and project manager.

Lawrence Whalen (co-owner) is Vice President of Forward Technologies Inc. with 30 years experience as a machinist, model maker, and tooling and fixture designer / maker.

Jered Johnson (co-owner) is the Plant Manager of Forward Technologies Inc. with dual degrees in CAD/CAM and Tooling and Machining with 10 years of experience as a machinist, tool and die designer / maker, and a CNC programmer.
